I'll unbury these treasures!

There is a trend here on Neocities where people will create something called a 'shrine' section. This part of their webpage is dedicated to topics that the people care the most about. I think this is a wonderful idea! As I've been exploring through Neocities sites, I've quite enjoyed reading through topics that people care a lot about. I think the word that people put into these shrines is astounding and the level of detail that some shrines have still astounds me.

One shrine in particular is dedication to the video game Needy Streamer Overload and the creator of the website has programmed almost a one to one replica of the UI from the video game. It's INCREDIBLY impressive. That's one of many examples I've found in my journey exploring the indie web so far.

This page initially followed the naming trend of 'shrine' that many others had. But... I felt that title didn't quite suit what I was going for. I didn't really like the word shrine to describe the things most important to me. Yes, these are things I could talk for hours about, but they're also deeply interwoven and inseparable from my history. They've played a huge part in shaping me as an individual.

I wouldn't really call them "shrines" in this case. But they're more than just a simple interest or hyperfixation. They're my treasures.
